artMRKT Hamptons The first ever artMRKT Hamptons takes place July 14-17 on the grounds of the Bridgehampton Historical Society and includes 35 local, national, and international galleries. A preview benefit is at the Southhampton Hospital on the 14th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. with a VIP preview party following from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

ArtHamptons The fourth annual ArtHamptons fair of post-war and contemporary art runs July 8-10 with an opening reception on July 7th from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

SCOPE Hamptons SCOPE Art Fair returns to the Hamptons from July 21-24 with a preview on July 21st from noon-8:00 p.m.

Guild Hall Summer Gala and Richard Prince Exhibition At Guild Hall from August 13-October 10, Richard Prince presents a new body of work based on images appropriated from Jackson Pollock. In honor of the opening, the Guild Hall Summer Gala will be held on August 12th from 6:00-11:00 p.m. The event includes a preview of the exhibition, cocktails, and a tented dinner at the Gardiner Estate.

Dorothea Rockburne Retrospective at the Parrish Museum My Mind's Eye is the first career retrospective of artist Dorothea Rockburne, a Black Mountain alum who also collaborated with Robert Rauschenberg, Claes Oldenburg, and Carolee Schneemann. The exhibition runs through August 14th.

C Fine Art's Uncommon Ground II Curator Cheryl Sokolow of C Fine Art and the Peconic Land Trust will once again bring contemporary sculpture to Bridgehampton this summer for the outdoor exhibition Uncommon Ground II. The exhibition juxtaposes the natural world with the one we create, featuring 18 outdoor sculptures by 11 contemporary artists. There will be an evening of music on Friday, July 8th at 6:00 p.m., and an opening on Saturday, July 23rd from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The exhibition is on view through September 11th.

Parrish Art Museum Midsummer Party On July 9th, the Parrish Art Museum will hold its annual Midsummer party. An "After Ten" event follows from 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. with dancing, drinks, and dessert.

Grey Area Pop-up: Hamptons Grey Area, in partnership with Artlog, opens a Hamptons pop-up exhibition from July 22-31. Directed and curated by Kyle DeWoody, the show focuses on work that belongs outside of a conventional gallery setting. Artists range from high-profile to emerging, including Tom Sachs, Rob Wynne, Ryan McGinness, Aaron Young, and Zaha Hadid.
